Additional Charges & Massachusetts Waste Ban Items
The rental agreement encompasses the delivery and collection of the dumpster, as well as the disposal of debris. An additional fee of $15 will be incurred for each day beyond the rental period, and overweight charges will apply at a rate of $200 per ton, prorated for any excess weight beyond the specified tonnage. Homestead Disposal, Inc. prohibits the acceptance of Asbestos, Medical Waste, or any Liquid Waste, including Paint, Oil, and Solvents. The disposal of hazardous or special wastes in our dumpster rental is strictly forbidden. Should any hazardous or special waste be discovered in the rented dumpster, it will be quarantined until it is rendered compliant for disposal. All costs incurred due to the presence of hazardous and special waste will be the responsibility of the customer. The Massachusetts D.E.P. has banned the following items from all landfills. If any of these waste ban items are placed in a home dumpster rental, the following per item handling charges apply from all Transfer & Recycling operations in the State of Massachusetts.
Television and computer screens are priced at $55 each. - Mattresses and box springs are available for $125 each. - Propane tanks, car tires, batteries, and appliances containing Freon and white goods are all priced at $55 each.
